Our studio is built around the equivalent of a digitally controlled, custom-voiced tube console with built-in dynamics. It's perfect for lending heft to acoustic jazz, singer-songwriter, and electro-acoustic music. Mixes are dynamic and sound loud without resorting to extreme digital-domain hard limiting.
Individual busses are processed and summed in the analog domain by a number of tube and solid-state processors including the Manley ELOP, Vari Mu, and Stereo Limiter. Mixes are captured by both a high-performance custom Anagram Technologies DAC running at 192kHz and an MCI JH-110 analog 1/4" tape machine.
We offer mixing, mastering, tracking, and overdub services in addition to transfer to and from analog tape.
